2010 National Latino Writers Conference


Albuquerque's National Hispanic Cultural Center will be hosting the 8th Annual National Latino Writers Conference on May 19 - May 22 at the History and Literary Arts Building.

Nationally prominent authors, agents, and editors will present in workshops and panel discussions.  All attendees will have the opportunity to have three one-on-one appointments with an agent, author, and editor.  Now accepting a total of 50- fiction and nonfiction writers.  Genres include novel, screenwriting, poetry, short prose, playwriting, memoir/biography and travel writing.  Authors will read manuscript samples if submitted by April 1, 2010.  Registration fee covers all workshops, interviews, conference activities, refreshments and evening banquet.  

The following Internationally and Nationally known authors will be teaching 2 hour-long workshops in their respective fields:

With a limited enrollment of fifty and a faculty of nearly 20 presenters, in addition to agents, editors, publishers and publicists holding panels on publishing, representation and fair compensation, this is truly a conference not to miss.
